Barclays Beco Building
Stepline Original was installed during the renovation of the B-listed Beco Building and its surroundings in Tradeston, Glasgow.
The Beco Building now houses a "Barclays' Eagle Lab" and branch in the lower floors, with a substantial amount of creative and flexible workspaces created in the upper levels of the building.
The exterior area surrounding the Beco Building has been transformed into a serene city centre courtyard. With over 260 tonnes of bespoke precast landscaping. Elements varying from benches to seated steps, the area has now become an area for modern tranquillity in a bustling city centre. Stepline Original anti-slip inserts were installed into all of the precast stairways created by the specifier, Plean Precast, and installed by the assigned contractor, Graham Construction.
